Satyawart Kadian, is an Indian wrestler and also a silver and bronze medal winner. He represented India at the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics, in which he won a bronze medal, under 100kg freestyle wrestling. He then represented India in 2014 Commonwealth games and bagged a Silver medal under 97 kg category.
Career:
He began his career by participating in the Youth Olympics conducted in Singapore. In this game, he represented India and won a bronze medal and came into limelight in the sports world. This was his first International event and he wrestled under 100kg category. In 2013, he represented India in World Youth Wrestling Championship held in Sofia, Bulgaria. He won a bronze medal and became the only Indian wrestler to return home with a medal. He was just 18-year old when he secured this medal.
In 2014, Asian Wrestling championship, he again secured a bronze medal by defeating Alihan Djumaev of Kazakhstan and he won the game because of the last point card. In 2014, Commonwealth games, he participated under 97kg category, however he was up for a Gold medal, however he lost to Arjun Gill of Canada and settled for a Silver medal. In the same year, he won bronze medal in Asian Games.
