Shirish Kunder, is an Indian Filmmaker, Editor and Screenwriter. She has edited over a dozen films starting with Champion (2000). He has also made his screenwriting debut with Jaan-E-Mann, in the year 2006. He is also married to a famous Bollywood Choreographer ‘Farah Khan’, whom he met while working on her film ‘Main Hoon Na’.
Career:
Career:Initially, he started working as an Electronic Engineer in Motorola for four years. Later, without job satisfaction, he began to follow his passion and entered into film Industry as an Editor. In the year 2006, he made his directorial debut through the movie ‘Jaan-E-Mann’. He is also the Editor, background score composer and screen writer for the movie. This film starred Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta in the lead roles and was an average hit in the Bollywood industry.
He was the co-producer for the movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’, along with Twinkle Khanna and Ronnie Screwvala. He is also a co-writer for the movie, along with his brother ‘Ashmith Kunder’. His second directorial venture was the movie ‘Joker’, released in the year 2012. However, the film did not go well in the box office. He has also directed a short film ‘Kriti’, which is a psychological thriller and released on Youtube and the video has over 10 million views.
