From childhood, she dreamt of becoming a pilot; however she made her entry in Film Industry due to destiny. She was also interested in the dance and music from her school days and she took her lessons in Mumbai. Including this, she was also good in athletics and she has also represented her school in many competitions

Career:She made her debut in the acting career through the famous movie, ‘Ashoka’, in which she shared screen space with Bollywood star, ‘Shah Rukh Khan’. However, she became a well known face only after her role in the movie ‘Haasil’, which was released in the year, 2003. Her acting performance in the movies, Ab Tak Chhappan and Jigyaasa, were appreciated and critically acclaimed.
Following this, she made her appearance in the music video Dakku Daddy, along with Shakti Kapoor. She has also worked in many regional movies. In Marathi Language she starred in movies like Mani Mangalsutra and Dhol-Taashe and in Bengali movies like, Mrs. Sen and Bidhaatar Lekha. Apart from this, she has also made appearances in Telugu, Urdu, Nepali, Persian movies.
