Introduction to Bigg Boss:
Bigg Boss, is an Indian Television reality show, aired in Colors TV channel. Initially, it was aired in the Sony TV, in 2006 and 2007. However, from the year 2008, the show is aired in Colors TV. It is one of the most popular shows, which is following the Dutch Big Brother format, developed by Endemol, Netherlands.
Show Format:
Show Format: The contestants of the show are made to live in a house built especially for this show, which is isolated from the rest of world, without any electronic devices or phone connections. The contestants are also known by the name ‘Housemates’ and the contestants nominate their co-contestants for eviction. The housemate, who receives most nomination, would face public voting. As a result, one of the evicted contestants will be leaving the show. In the final week, three housemates remain and with the public vote, the winner is finalized.
In India, the housemates are usually celebrities, where one of the contestant is selected through the auditions and usually a non-celebrity. They are overseen by another person, whose identity is not revealed, popularly known as ‘Bigg Boss’, who is only vocally present in the house.
The House and Rule of the Show:
New houses are built for every season and the house is well-furnished and decorated, with all kinds of modern amenities. However, there are just one or two bedrooms, with four toilet bathrooms. Including this, there is also a gym, pool, activity area, garden and a confession room. Despite being a modern house, this house doesn’t have a telephone or internet connection or paper, pen and clock.
Rules:
- The contestants are allowed to communicate to each other only in ‘Hindi’.
- No tampering with any of the electronic devices in the house.
- Not allowed to leave the house, until permitted to.
- Not allowed to discuss nominations with one another.
- No sleeping in daytime.

Season 11, of the famous reality show, is set to air in the year 2017. This show has successfully completed 10 years and launching in the 11th year. The show will be aired in Colors TV channel and CEO of the channel has hinted that, there will be chance for commoners in this season.

Online Registration: The last date to apply, in order to participate in this reality competition is May 31, 2017.
Rules for Registration:
- Contestant should be above age 18.
- Contestant should be fluent in Hindi..
- Only one video can be shared
- The run time of the video should be only 3 minutes
- The maximum size of the video should not be more than 50 MB
- There is no registration fees.
Commoners Audition Date:
The audition date are yet to be announced. Once the registration process is completed, the entries will be sent for screening test. After watching the videos of all the registered people, the team will finalize the shortlisted candidates and they will be receiving the details of the auditions like Venue, Timings etc. The details will be sent via e-mail or registered mobile number.
