Sonakshi Kar, is a 13-year old contestant from Kolkata. She is one of the Top 15 contestants in the famous singing reality competition, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, 2017’. She won the hearts of judges and jury in the audition through her performance of the song ‘Agar Tum Sath Ho’ and she has also mesmerised the viewers with her soulful and beautiful voice. She has also scored 100% in the audition from the 30 jury members.

Her father is a service man and her mother is a Home maker and she has constant support from both her parents in all her adventures. She had a passion for singing even from a very young age. She is a trained classical singer, who has been taking her lesson from a tender age. Her favourite singer is Lata Mangeshkar and her biggest dream is to meet Lata Mangeshkar and Bollywood actress Kajol, of whom she is a huge fan.

Her aspiration is to become a Bengali Playback singer and Hindi Classical singer. She has been showcasing her talent in the stages of various reality shows and has gained name and fame in many shows. She made her debut performance in ‘Indian Idol Junior’ at the age of 9 and gave a mesmerising performance before the judges. In ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’ she has to perform before Himesh Reshamiya, Javed Ali and Neha Kakkar and also 30 jury member, who are professional singers.
