Sanjeev Kapoor, is a celebrity Indian chef, entrepreneur writer and TV personality. He stars in the TV cooking show Khana Khazana, which is the longest running cooking program in Asia. In 2010, the show had more than 500 million viewers. He was also a contestant on the show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.
Kapoor started his career in an under their kitchen management scheme. He has worked in many hotels and later he became the Executive chef of ‘Centaur Hotel’ in Mumbai. He has also received an award for ‘Best Executive Chef of India’ by H & FS and Mercury Gold award at Geneva, Switzerland. Singapore airlines have recruited him as one of member of the International Culinary Panel. He is also a brand ambassador for Sweekar Advanced, sunflower oil in India.
In 2001, he started his first restaurat, ‘The Yellow Chilli’, which serves his recipes. In 2010, he launched Sanjeev Kapoor’s Khana Khazana, which is his line of ready-to-cook meals. In 2011, he launched his own TV channel, FoodFood. In 2013, he has also hosted the cooking show, ‘Sanjeev Kapoor Ke Kitchen Khiladi’ on Sony India. He has also been a celebrity judge on Masterchef India season 3, which aired on StarPlus.
