Malala Yousafzai, is a Pakistani Student, Children and Women Rights activist. She strongly recommends that education is a must for all gender, especially girls and they should be allowed to go to school. As a result of this, she was shot in the head, by a Taliban Gunman.
Career:
Initially, her father was running a girl’s school in Swat and when Taliban’s started attacking the girl’s school around the area, Malala gave her first speech about female education in Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2008. In the year 2009, she became a well known face through a weblog of BBC News Urdu Language service, in which they have documented about Malala’s life and education under Taliban rule. Following this, she was shot by a Taliban Gunman and also has survived the attack.
She was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize, in the year 2013 and became the youngest recipient of Nobel Prize, at the age of 16. On her 16th birthday she made a speech at the United Nations. She has also written an autobiography, ‘I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood up For Education and Was shot by Taliban’. She has also received many awards for her works on Female education and she has also given many speech, stating the importance of Education to girl Child.
