Jim Sarbh was born into a Parsi Family in Mumbai. His father is a former marine master and also the Regional Director of the P&O Ports South and Middle East Asia. His mother is a retired physiotherapist. He moved to Australia with this family when he was three years old and lived there till when he was eight years old. His family came back to Mumbai thereafter. He studied from American School of Bombay and also studied his undergraduate at Emory University, USA. He has a degree in the Psychology. Jim Sarbh started his career first into Theatre industry when he was studying in USA. He joined the theatre group in Atlanta and worked as intern for a year. Then he worked as supporting role in the plays before going back to India. He came to India in 2012 and again started as theatre artist. Later on in 2016, he got his movie debut from Ajeeb Ashiq and went onto play roles in Neerja. His best role was in Padmaavat and he also played in Raabta and A Death in the Gunj.
