Anil Madhav Dave, is an Indian Politician and was serving as the Member of the Parliament. During his service period, he was representing Madhya Pradesh in Rajya Sabha and was the Minister of State for taking care of the Environment, Forest and Climatic Changes. Recently, he was diagnosed with Pnemonia and was very weak, since then. He was undergoing treatments, however, his health did not get better. Today, he passed away without any success in treatment and the cause of death was Lung cancer. PM Modi, has stated that this is a ‘Personal Loss’ to him.

Career: 

 After completing his education, he began his political career and was a part of the JP movement. He has also been a cadet in the National Cadet Corps Air Wing. Following this, he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and served as an advisor to the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti, in the year 2004. He was also very passionate and showed lot of interest in Narmada revival project. He was selected as the member of the Rajya Sabha, from Madhya Pradesh Constituency, in the year 2009.

During his period, he was one of the member of various committees like Water resources committee, Ministry of Information and broadcasting committee and has also served as in charge of Global warming and climatic change forums, in 2010. Following this, he was appointed as the Minister of State, where he took charge of ‘Environment, Forest and Climatic changes’ and he was working under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government from July, 2016.
